Dear Guest There is still a lot to learn on sustainability . However, we already know that it has to do with acts of our daily lives. Every time, more people understand the problems related to the environment and start to think globally. But this is not enough: we have to think and act locally.
In the effort to reduce our carbon emissions some actions have been implemented, as the adoption of efficient light bulbs (CFL), the use of heat pumps for water heating, a linen reuse program (optional), the installation of low flow aerators in faucets and shower heads as well as timers and presence sensors. Several other initiatives are being discussed (please, send us your suggestions). The reduction of our environment impact is vital considering the estimates of the world´s population to more than 9 billion people by 2050 **.
Considering the challenges that are presented to us in order to reach this objective, we may have lost chances to face still small problems. We need however, to deal with them before they grow even more. We invite you to participate in building something to be a legacy to the next generations: a sustainable planet.
