The Port Region lived its apogee and decline in little more than a century. From 2010, with the beginning of the works of the Porto Maravilha project, which revitalizes the urban area while preserving the history of this region, several historical points have been rediscovered. From the Valongo Gardens to the Empress Pier, through modern projects such as the Rio Art Museum and the new Tomorrow Museum, the project developed the tourism and economic potential of the region, forming a legacy for future generations. In this context, we selected some points of tourist interest in the Carioca Port Region, forming a great historical and cultural itinerary of this important region of the city.
